Ragnar: Check

We've had the Ragnar Relay (Wasatch Back) on our to-do list for a while and it feels good to get it checked off! This is a relay race with 12 people per team (in our other van were some guys from our ward and stake) and it starts in Logan and ends in Park City. We started at the crack of dawn Friday morning and ended Saturday night.
Each runner has 3 legs. Mine were 7.7, 8.7, and 5 miles. Robert's first leg was...well, let's call it exciting. It was almost 7 miles and we were all waiting and waiting for him at the end. Somehow he finished but he had quite the bout of g.i. distress! Luckily he recovered enough to finish up his next 2 legs; a 4 and a mountainous 7 plus. We got about 2 hours of sleep at Kamas H.S. Friday night which was the hardest part.
Getting to know the Duncans and Hyers better (too good? j/k) was a highlight. Loved cheering on my team! Also loved driving and running through beautiful parts of Utah where I have never been. Eden and Paradise- the names are a perfect fit. Will I do it again? Perhaps. Robert wants to do it again so he can get in 3 successful legs :-) but it might take a little convincing for me.

OUR AWESOME CREW: Chris and Jill Hyer, Robert and Karin, Jill and Bryan Duncan
