Charlotte is 2 Months Old!

Took Char to her 2 month checkup. Pretty sure I feed my kids straight up cream. Charlotte now weighs 12 lbs. 10 oz. and is 23" long. So in 2 months she has grown 3 inches and gained 5 lbs. 6 oz.!! That seems like a ton. Those 3 shots the nurse gave her seemed to have knocked her out because this is what she has been doing all afternoon:

Teach Vs. Learn

We see a lot of hissy fits- tantrums, crying, whatever you want to call it- around here. Brooklyn and Mackenzie are very dramatic. Mackenzie is a perfectionist. Brooklyn is also very particular. They both want things to be exactly fair. Robert likes to call it "personality" but I just call it "naughty."

This behavior tends to upset me and think I just have to TEACH these kids that it is NOT OK to act like that. Which may be true.

I'm starting to realize that maybe the most important thing is for me to LEARN to how to react. Can I show a little patience? Can I show a little love? Can I teach through example? Working on it.

Halloween Festivities

We did Wheeler Farm, school parties, friend party, neighborhood trunk or treat, ward party, wore lots of costumes and had a fun Halloween week!

My beautiful baby

Robert gave Charlotte a beautiful baby blessing on Sunday. She was perfect and so sweet in her frilly white dress. I appreciated all the family support on her special day.
