Char's turning 3

I had to go back and look at pictures from Kenzie and Brooklyn's 3rd birthdays since Char is turning 3 this week.

Here is Brooklyn turning 3. ...

And here is Char at 3 :)

We did it

We moved and all came out alive. Can we please never do that again? And can someone come organize my new house for me?
Making it worth it... the view from my bedroom.

This Year's Away Game

BYU versus Virginia. Trip goes down in history.  I don't want to get in trouble with my better half for saying it goes down in history as the worst trip ever so I'll just stick with this trip goes down in history. We flew into Charlottesville, Virginia on Thursday night.

Friday was a fun day spent at the Children's museum and browsing the downtown shops. Funny how kids browse so much better when you agree to let them pick something out.

Saturday was game day. The long walk to the stadium in heat humidity and a kid about to pee her pants. The game where there was a 2 hour lightning and storm delay after the 1st quarter. The delay we spent on the concourse and in the bathroom. The game that even after play resumes it is too rainy to sit out in the stands with the kids. And then BYU loses.

Sunday was flying home day. This was the first night we got to sleep in our new house. And we didn't get home until after 1am. Weather delay and 5 extra hours in the Atlanta airport. But at least the girls got a picture with the BYU cheerleaders :) And they were all really good I must say.

Better luck with our away game next year!

Time Marches On

My grown up Mackenzie is starting 2nd grade in Miss Lufkin's class. She is kind of breaking my heart growing up without asking my permission.

Brooklyn has Mrs. Price for Kindergarten. I want this picture to remind me of how we just moved into our house and had not yet located our new backpacks for school amid the mess of packed and half unpacked boxes at our new house. Mackenzie was flipping out about the makeshift bag I had found for her and when we asked Brooklyn if she would trade Mackenzie, she didn't even hesitate and just shrugged and said "sure." That's just the kind of girl she is.

Cute Charlotte gets to be in a 2 year old preschool class at the Winner School with Miss Jamie. It's a good thing too because she so wants to be big like her sisters and go everywhere they go and do everything they do.

We can't leave out my cute baby who is 7 months now and crawling and pulling himself up on things (I have to lower the crib already?) and loving big boy food. The very first time I fed him from a spoon, he ate the entire jar of carrots. It cracked me up because usually the first time babies have solids they have 3 or 4 bites and call it good. Apparently he was ready.
