The Aftermath

Well, I'm ashamed to say that I don't know how the hair cutting went down because I'm an extra good mom like that. All I know is both girls had scissors, Brooklyn got the worst of it, and all the hair was in one pile.

Here is the "fixed" hair cut. I like to think of it as a sassy asymmetrical bob.




Good thing that hair do is on this cute face, huh!

Master-izing

I bought this Ethan Allan chair from a consignment store for a great deal (and the pillow and lamp also) for Robert for Christmas. Kinda like when a husband buys tools for his wife, but he actually really liked it so I was off the hook.
I'm so happy with the balance it brings into our room- making it feel so much more "master."

Happy New Year To Me

With the new year comes the beauty of 3 year old kids moving up from nursery to the sunbeams. Today in nursery (with a few missing) we had 3 kids and 3 teachers. Never have I felt so much peace at church. Good luck to the Sunbeam teachers!! I do not envy you.

On a less cheery note, I have a curse...I love chocolate chip cookies. They are my favorite thing- but that's not the curse. I cannot for the life of me bake a non-burned non-flat yummy chocolate chip cookie. So sad :(
