Mackenzie and Brooklyn just love making beds, ironic since they don't actually like to sleep. We find beds all over the house. Sometimes they are for the girls, sometimes the animals or babies, and from time to time for the bath toys.

7 YEARS
For our anniversary, Robert got me what every mom wants- an afternoon OFF and a night OUT. Thanks honey!
I love that he's good. I love how we can laugh. I love the honesty between us. I love how he loves our kids.
What a great choice I made 7 years ago!

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
THE GOOD
She just looks so cute in her panties-especially from the behind! We've been working on potty training for the last little bit. Brookie has done pretty well- just a few accidents. And once we got out the candy jar it was amazing how quickly she understood you poop in the toilet and not your panties!
I felt like today was a breakthrough because she was telling me she had to go or she'd go on her own.
THE BAD AND THE UGLY
Yes, this is my leg. It is bad and ugly and purple and uncomfortable and annoying and achy and NOT FAIR...the joys of pregnancy! Please don't judge me if you see me walking around in the scorching heat with one tall black compression sock with my shorts or capris. These awful varicose veins have to be in addition to getting huge? Can't I choose which symptoms I'll take? Ok, I'm done. Now we can call the wah-bulence! [from here on out I'll try to stick with the miracle of growing and having a baby because I know it is truly a blessing]

Couldn't POSSIBLY
We were in Mackenzie's room last night and she had some underwear on the floor. Robert asked her if they were hers or if they were mom's. Mackenzie laughed, "Look at these- they couldn't possibly be mom's!"
Maybe you had to hear the way she said it, but we busted up.

A Week In Fallon
I took a risk on our drive home yesterday. I woke up at 5am hoping the girls would sleep for a little while and they both slept for about the first 3 hours of the 8 hour drive home. So we survived the drive home. When we pulled into our garage, Mackenzie said "Let's go back to Fallon now."
We had a great week staying with Grandma and Grandpa.
We swam and ran through the sprinklers.
We played with cousins.
The cousins let us play in all their dress ups.
We visited the neighbors' animals. Held the puppies, fed the alpacas.

We had lots of picnics and yummy food. (That I didn't have to make.)
We rode the 4 wheeler.
We saw old friends.
We did art projects.
We jumped and jumped and jumped on the tramp.
We looked for bunnies and lizards and worms.
We congratulated cousin Kevin on h.s. graduation.
We were spoiled.
We loved it.
