End of an Era

We have been blessed to have Ciara Hoopes as our nanny, babysitter, taxi driver, friend, dishwasher extrordinaire, grocery shopper... (I could keep going).  She has been working hard going to dental hygiene school and working for us for the last 2.5 years.  She just graduated and found a full time job.  Sad sad day for us!  We will miss her so much.

San Fran

Robert and I decided to take advantage of a weekend get-away before Ciara started her new dental hygiene job. We had never been to San Francisco together. We stayed near the wharf and had a fabulous time doing all the standard tourist things. We saw a Dodgers-Giants game, bike to the Golden Gate Bridge, trolley to shopping, Golden Gate Park (pouring rain).  San Fran has a lot to do and is easy to get around and we loved it.

Easter 2016

We spent Easter in St. George this year since Rick was blessing baby Jack.  We had a great time finding eggs, hiking, and swimming.

February 26

Dad is the dad so he gets to chose what he wants to do for his birthday.  We had a ski day and spent the night at Solitude. Jeffrey didn't love hanging with the day care so he took a nap on my lap. One of his fave birthdays so far!

Double Digits

Our oldest is double digits years old! I love this human and who she is growing into. Mackenzie is a loving affectionate daughter and I need her to continue to teach me. I am impressed with how she works her bum off in school and soccer.

And we can't have a birthday without breakfast in bed. Just no.

The "Baby" is 3

I feel like our big boy is getting bigger every day. Maybe he is. He likes to say "I'm a funny boy" and "that's silly".  Jeffrey gives the best prayers which always start with bless my mom and my dad.

He is doing great with potty training but refuses to wear underwear. Not sure why, but it is either commando or a pull-up. Happy day for me when I got him to pee in the toilet for the first time!
