Kevin comes Home and Twin Lakes

Kevin came home from his Spanish speaking mission to Orlando. He's so grown up. Jeffrey was excited to meet him!
A calming voice! The girls and I got to stay with Grandma Jean this trip. Loved it.

Below...Being by the lake is so fun. Only those soothing sun burns actually wanted to get IN the lake.  We were fascinated watching the bird nest on the deck. There was a mom that sat with her babies and we stole a few pictures when she would go to get them food. There was also a dad that would bring the mom and the babies food. The babies grew so much in the 5 days we were there. The first pic is from the first day and the next pic is from 5 days later. So interesting to see the baby bird opening its mouth waiting for food. Also loved spotting deer, chipmunks, minnows, birds,
and the coolest butterfly I have ever seen.

So many kids! All the kids minus baby Jeffrey.

Preschool Graduation and Dance Recital

Brooklyn was so cute at her dance recital. She knew the whole tap routine. Char can only aspire to strike a pose the way Brooklyn can.
Here is Brooklyn with Oakley Clawson, her carpool, preschool, and dance buddy.
This 5 year old is ready for kindergarten. She can't wait. Brookie had a super fun year with Miss Leslie and Brittany at the Winner School. I'm so happy she is such a friendly girl and will be able to make friend where ever she goes. She's smart and good and we love to see her happy and progressing. Happy graduation, Brookie!

Mother's Day 2013

I love this picture of me with the munchkins, not because I look so great, but because...
I know how excited they were to bring me breakfast in bed (which Char sat down and ate most of)
I know that there were 3 screeching girls fighting about who would lay where for this picture
I know this is where you can find me and baby snuggling every morning
I know there were about 57 Mother's Day cards on my night stand ( and crying over the ones they could not find to give to me)
I know my husband let me sleep in this morning and he made breakfast with 3 helpers who want to do it all themselves plus a holdy baby
I love the 3 in pink and the 1 in blue and being mom is my world

At Charlotte's Mother's Day program, lets just say things didn't go too well. I got out the phone to take some pictures and she proceeded to cry the rest of the program because she wanted to play with my phone. She would not sing one song or participate in one action with the class. She had her mind made up that she would not give up until she had my phone. I held my ground. She finally forgot about the phone tantrum when the program was over and it was time for treats.

Our new Cottonwood Heights home is cruising right along. We are expecting to be move in ready in late July.

Waterford Country Fair

The girls had a blast at the Waterford Country Fair. They have face painting, games, ponies, treats, cupcake decorating, a magician, dancing, a bbq, petting zoo- you name it.

Post-fair...I don't normally take all the kids to the grocery store. And this is why. What a circus!
