Here I am at 18 weeks. I'm glad I look pregnant in this picture because once I put on regular clothes I just look CHUBBY. Haha, I sure pregnant lady has felt that way.
Since the crib will have a new occupant before too long we decided it was time to put Brookie in a big girl bed. The first couple days were a bit bumpy. Here is a picture of how exhausted Brooklyn was after throwing an I'm-not-going-to-stay-in-here tantrum. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well she transitioned after she learned that she might as well just stay put.
I put up a few new decorations to go with the consignment store furniture and new bed. Fun stuff :)

My Mackenzie
Today she told me "If you want me to be nice to you and not yell at you, then you need to go to the store and get me lunchables right now."
Wow, time for me to go buy every parenting book stocked at Barnes and Noble.

YAY!
We accepted an offer on our house in Iowa. We are supposed to close on May 15, so let's all keep our fingers crossed until then.

Easter 2010
We were able to get away to St. George for Easter this year. Mackenzie kept asking why we can't live there. We all had a great time celebrating Easter, relaxing, and watching conference (or trying to). Robert's sister and her husband's family were down there too which was a bonus for my girls who adore their cousins.
Here are my girls at our neighborhood egg hunt:
And with Hallie and Livi:
The Easter Bunny found us in St. George and here's the video
The Dunn's grandma was nice enough to paint Mackenzie into a butterfly. Brookie got some stars on her cheek and kept asking to look in the mirror again.

A Good Week
We've had a good week here. Grandma Jill came for a visit so the girls were in heaven with all the attention. Robert and I went to the temple Tuesday and to a Jazz game Wednesday. (Two nights out in a row?) On Thursday I had my beloved bunco night and on top of it all I've been feeling way better. I had mixed feelings when I took my maternity clothes out of storage this week. It won't be too long and that is fantastic if it means the baby is growing but it can also be a hard pill to swallow!
Of course I didn't take any pictures this week so here is our family Christmas picture that I never posted :)

Questions
Will I ever be a useful member of society- or at least this household- again?
Will I ever have a normal relationship with food again?
Will I ever need lose my obsession with sleep?
Will I ever toughen up and not be such a bawl baby?
Please tell me yes. And please tell me I will survive not just pregnancy but having THREE kids!
(Thrilled and due in late September)

Doesn't 4 Sound So Old?
Mackenzie had a fabulous time celebrating her much anticipated 4th birthday. Her wish was granted and she was able to have her Grandma Jill, Grandpa Jeff, Grandma Jean, cousin Kate, and Aunt Shelley come visit for the whole weekend. What Fun!
Mackenzie's request was to go to Jungle Jim's which she insisted on calling Disneyland. You would hear it if you did not call it the correct name.
Thanks to everyone who came for cake and presents too. This little girl was in heaven.
We brought Mackenzie home from Mercy hospital in Des Moines 4 years ago. I remember those first several days falling in love with that baby and it was during the Torino winter olympics. I've been surprised how these 2010 winter olympics have brought back such memories of learning to nurse Mackenzie and hold her and dress her and all the time spent staring at her...all to the background of skiing and skating and metal counts. Couldn't believe how much I loved her then and it just keeps growing.
