Summer Vaca

We started off our vacation with a quick stop in St. George. We enjoyed Peter Pan at Tuacahn. Jeffrey was invited to his first show- but only until intermission.

Next up was a stop in Fallon, mostly to get ready for Twin Lakes.  We spent the 4th of July at the cabin and there is nowhere I would rather be than Twin Lakes on July 4th! It is so peaceful to me.

We just love spending the 4th of July at the cabin.  Icing on the cake was having Christiansen cousins all to ourselves.

The girls all had such a great school year.

Spring Break of Epic Proportions

Disney cruise out of Miami--4 day--Castaway Cay, Nassau, Key West

The kids got a kick out of Pirate night and Grandpa even dressed up! I guess pirates eat their plates.

Part 2:  Universal Studios.

Stayed at Portafino where we could take the boat back and forth to the park. We had a magical time in Harry Potter world. But the smaller two kids were a bit spooked.

End of an Era

We have been blessed to have Ciara Hoopes as our nanny, babysitter, taxi driver, friend, dishwasher extrordinaire, grocery shopper... (I could keep going).  She has been working hard going to dental hygiene school and working for us for the last 2.5 years.  She just graduated and found a full time job.  Sad sad day for us!  We will miss her so much.

San Fran

Robert and I decided to take advantage of a weekend get-away before Ciara started her new dental hygiene job. We had never been to San Francisco together. We stayed near the wharf and had a fabulous time doing all the standard tourist things. We saw a Dodgers-Giants game, bike to the Golden Gate Bridge, trolley to shopping, Golden Gate Park (pouring rain).  San Fran has a lot to do and is easy to get around and we loved it.
