Quick but Fun SG Trip

 We headed down south to see Mary Poppins at Tuacahn. Loved going to the show as always. After about 10 minutes, Char asked if she could stay with the baby sitter. A little late but she was pretty good and even fell asleep towards the end of the show.
We also met up with the Lin family at the Tabernacle park, went to Staheli farm for some fall fun, and went to lunch with the Keys who were also down in St. George. Of course we went to breakfast at the Bear Paw (which we call the Bear Claw) and I didn't get any pictures of my son but I did take a picture of what it looks like under his high chair after we go out to eat.

All She Wants

Brooklyn is down a couple front teeth. {She is such a great BYU fan :) }

In Kindergarten, each child gets to have a spotlight. Brooklyn loved to tell the class more about herself and show them pictures and share some treats. We were very brave and also brought in Lily (the day after we got her!) for the spotlight. Brookie has such a friendly personality and has made so many friends in her class. I sure miss her at home but she is doing great at school.

Mountain Visit

Took a walk around Silver Lake up at Brighton on a Sunday afternoon. Ended up being a real great afternoon, but we did have to call it a picnic and take food in order to get the excitement level up to par.

Char's turning 3

I had to go back and look at pictures from Kenzie and Brooklyn's 3rd birthdays since Char is turning 3 this week.

 Here is Brooklyn turning 3. ...

And here is Char at 3 :)

We did it

We moved and all came out alive. Can we please never do that again? And can someone come organize my new house for me?

This Year's Away Game

BYU versus Virginia. Trip goes down in history.  I don't want to get in trouble with my better half for saying it goes down in history as the worst trip ever so I'll just stick with this trip goes down in history. We flew into Charlottesville, Virginia on Thursday night.

Friday was a fun day spent at the Children's museum and browsing the downtown shops. Funny how kids browse so much better when you agree to let them pick something out.

Saturday was game day. The long walk to the stadium in heat humidity and a kid about to pee her pants. The game where there was a 2 hour lightning and storm delay after the 1st quarter. The delay we spent on the concourse and in the bathroom. The game that even after play resumes it is too rainy to sit out in the stands with the kids. And then BYU loses.

Sunday was flying home day. This was the first night we got to sleep in our new house. And we didn't get home until after 1am. Weather delay and 5 extra hours in the Atlanta airport. But at least the girls got a picture with the BYU cheerleaders :) And they were all really good I must say.

Better luck with our away game next year!
